We REALLY like cheese and can't wait to try some of these extra cheesy dishes like the Canadian Smoked Cheddar Burger from Downie Street Burgers and the Cheddar & Ale Soup from Revival House! Remember to ask for the "Stratford Says Cheese" Specials at participating restaurants from April 4th-10th. See all the details here.

Not cheesy enough for you yet? Head to CheeseFEST, a free event held on the first evening of CDX, Wednesday April 6th from 4pm – 7pm. This event features a massive FREE Canadian cheese buffet, live music and a cash bar with local beer, wine & spirits. We love a local food celebration!
Meet Trevor Ewert, the man behind Once Upon A Tree Fine Woodworking. His sustainable, live-edge Cherry and Walnut cheese and charcuterie boards are one of the most popular gift items here at Bradshaws. People love giving them as wedding, shower and housewarming gifts paired with cheese knives, spreads and crackers. We even have customers who travel overseas with Trevor's boards to give as beautiful Canadian gifts for relatives and friends. Read more about Trevor's work here with stunning photos of his workshop and log cabin by Kristin Sjaarda.
What goes better with Once Upon A Tree boards than locally made G2 Railway Spike Cheese Knives?! Local craftsman Glen Beale forges these knives from found railway spikes. They make fascinating Stratford souvenirs and are a real conversation starter. You can also find them being used at Monforte on Wellington's delicious cheese plates. They are now available in our online shop here!
We love cheese so much that we have an entire cheese accessory area at Bradshaws. Be sure to check it out next time you are in our store. We hope to see you soon and have a very cheesy #cheeseweek!
